Message Reactions were initially noticed in August of 2021, but the company recently confirmed it officially. So now you will be able to react to messages on Whatsapp using thumbs-up or smiley face and other emoji.

1. Long press on the message to which you wish to react.
2. 6 emojis will pop up immediately.
3. Simply choose one of the six emojis displayed.
4. Your chosen emoji reaction will be shown beneath the message you picked.

WhatsApp Web and Desktop

1. Hover over the message to which you wish to react.
2. On the upper right of the message, an arrow will emerge.
3. Select React to message by clicking the downward arrow button.
4. Choose emoji to send as a message reaction.
5. The emoji reply you pick will show beneath the message you chose.

iOS and Android:

1. Long press on the message to which you wish to react.
